Upon arrival in Chennai, you will be received by our executive at the Airport/Railway station. Onward proceed for sightseeing of Chennai visiting Kapaleswarar Temple, Santhome church & a orientation of the asia boast longest ‘Marina Beach”. Later proceed to the popular beach town of Mamallapuram. Overnight stay at Mamallapuram.
Today morning after Breakfast sightseeing of Mamallapuram visiting - Shore Temple, Five Rathas, Arjuna penance, Cave Temple and Krishnan Butter. Post lunch proceed to Pondicherry. On arrival visit of Pondicherry incl Aurobhindo Ashram and Handmade paper factory. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.
DAY 03: PONDICHERRY TO TANJORE (180Kms / 4.5Hrs)After early breakfast drive Tanjore – so called the rice bowl of Tamilnadu. Enroute you will visit the famous Gangaikonda cholapuram. Upon arrival at Tanjore, check in to hotel & onward visit the World Heritage Brihadeswarar Temple also known by the name the “Big Temple”, further visit to the Museum & Art gallery at the Tanjore palace. Overnight stay at Tanjore.
DAY 04: TANJORE – TRICHY – MADURAI (190Kms / 4.5hrs)Check out after breakfast and head to Madurai – known to the one of the oldest states in Tamilnadu. En-route visit of Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple [2nd Tallest Tower in Asia] and the Jumbukeswarar Temple [One of the Pancha Bhootha Shiva temples] at Trichy. Later continue to Madurai and check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Madurai.
With a relaxed start of the day, for sightseeing in Madurai. Visit the World famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Naikar Palace, Gandhi Museum. You will also experience a Bicycle-Rickshaw ride in the evening to explore local market. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 06: DEPARTURE MADURAIThe tour ends today with a departure transfer to Madurai Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
